I had a car accident in 95 that left me in a wheelchair for 7 months and after that, I walked with a cane. My right arm is disabled and I am unable to raise it. After many years of physical therapy, my range in my arm hadn’t changed very much. I thought I would give personal training a try and WOW, the results were amazing. not only did I have more movement in my arm, I could raise it higher than any doctor thought possible but I could also do push up and even got to the point where I could do pull-ups. I am completely happy with my results and would recommend Steve to anyone looking for training…..and bonus he is funny. I also have completed 7 half marathons and even came in first in a couple of 5ks – thank you Steve

I have been training with Steven Farmer since August 2011, with amazing results. At the age of 51, I had never worked out before to speak of. Needless to say, if I could get in shape, anyone could and I actually have inspired others to get started. Luckily, my friend referred me to Steve, so I got the right trainer the first time— or I don’t think I would have stuck with it. After 6 months of boot camp, I added weight training. Steve puts a lot of emphasis on eating right and provides individual feedback and assistance. Nothing trendy or faddish, no product peddling, he promotes healthy habits based on scientific research and he lives by example. Steve keeps the workouts fresh with new and diverse drills. He finds ways to keep you engaged and interested so you never get bored. He always offers alternatives in case I can’t do everything. I couldn’t even jump or run when I started, and now I have rehabilitated a very old knee and neck injury. I have managed to stay injury-free as he monitors for proper form and does not push me into something that is unrealistic for my ability. He is patient and knows when to push and how far. He is positive, encouraging, and has a great sense of humor. We actually have fun and the rewards are great. Let me just say, I never could have imagined wearing a size 2. My wardrobe, style, activities, energy level and outlook have all changed. People say I look much younger, and I definitely feel younger. I just got my annual physical, and I am in great shape thanks to my diet and exercise regimen. I look forward to obtaining more strength and definition. Steve is professional and knowledgeable and I recommend him without hesitation. This is a lifestyle for me, I look forward to continued training with Steve. I can’t imagine a better trainer.
